GOLFING FOR A CAUSE

For the fourth year running, Bond Technology Management will be one of the major sponsors of the three-day charity event, at Son Gual, Mallorca.

Bond TM, along with Bond Support Services Group, will also be hosting the invitation-only VIP Party on Friday, 21st October.

Bond TM is proud to be involved with the Pinmar Golf and to support its worthy local and international causes.

THE PINMAR CHARITIES 2015

THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED IN THE 27TH PINMAR GOLF FOR YOUR FANTASTIC SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION

In addition to Jotun’s fantastic donation of €10,000, this year’s impressive total of €65,000 was reached thanks to a whole range of fundraising activities.

The Medaire and West Nautical raffle raised over €16,000 so a big thank you to all the volunteers who sold the tickets and to everyone else for buying so many.

We also raised another €9,000 from the silent and live auctions so thanks as always to James Marsden and his team from Impulse Decisions for their great efforts on our behalf, to Sovren Worldwide Services and J. Roca Yacht Jewelry in Barcelona for their donations and, of course, to all the generous bidders.

Special thanks to St James’s Place Wealth Management and to Struik & Hamerslag and others who made donations directly to the charity fund.

Thanks to Sturge, Yacht Fuel Services and Boero for sponsoring the buggies, club hire and trolleys respectively and raising a combined total of €6,755.

Also thanks to all of our food and drink sponsors on the golf course and on the terrace, HISWA – Holland Yachting Group, Evolution Yachts, National Marine Suppliers, Transas, Yacht Fuel Services, The Superyacht Group, Master Yachts, JustWorldLeisure and Globo Balear, and all our wonderful, hard-working volunteers who helped raise a total of nearly €18,000 over the two days.

Thanks also to Jonny Greenall and Jane Wynne of Balearic Helicopters who were hoping to raise a great sum again, as they have over so many years and yet, despite their best efforts, were refused permission to fly on the day.

As usual the previous winners decide where 50% of this total goes. The 2014 Pinmar champions Bystander (Lars Loftus, Scott Mitchell, James Handy and Luke Hendy) chose to divide their share between Shambhala in Mallorca and the St. Agnes Surf Life Saving club in Cornwall, U.K.

The remaining 50% will be shared amongst a wide range of good causes both local and international.

And finally, huge thanks again to all our players, volunteers, organizers and guests and to our Birdie, Eagle, Albatross and Condor sponsors for your wonderful support and generosity and allowing us to help so many worthy causes.
