SuperyachtNews.com met with Will Faimatea, founder and owner of AV and IT integration consultancy, Bond Technical Management to mark the opening of the company’s new headquarters overlooking Port Hercules in Monte Carlo.

Local superyacht professionals assembled at Bond’s new office to welcome the company to Port Hercules. Although Bond already had a base in Monaco, its relocation to the new HQ follows what Faimatea termed, “a corporate thread”, of improvements and expansions to its three other facilities in Hamburg, Barcelona and Amsterdam. And due to the ever-growing administrative demands being placed on the company by increased business activity, a distinct division was deemed necessary, alongside Bond IT in Amsterdam, which deals with supporting existing projects, and Bond Project Services in Hamburg, which handles new build and refit contracts.

Faimatea said that, with a pedigree of 22 new builds in five years, new contracts are still the company’s bread and butter. This is further proven by the fact that Bond can lay claim to having worked on the world’s largest superyacht, Eclipse, and is also working on a yacht that will usurp the 162m vessel when it is completed.
